Josh Singleton, Founder and Executive Director

Josh is a gardener through and through. He began gardening when he was 15 and has yet to miss a tomato season. His passion for vegetable production has led him to manage different farm operations in Texas and California. His experience over the last 20+ years has led to the founding of TNGP, a non-profit passionate about seeing individuals discover their purpose as they engage and grow with the garden.

Mike DeRiso, Director of Development

Mike is a retired marketing and product development professional from the agriculture industry with a combination of experiences and skills in product management, marketing, business development, and strategic planning. Mike is a Texas Certified Crop Consultant (CCA) and has previous experience in elementary school Ag education outreach. Mike is a lifelong gardener and has his own community garden plot in Harvest Green (Richmond, TX).

Joyce Davis, St. Paul’s Parishioner Representative

Joyce Davis is a native Texan and a retired teacher from Katy ISD. She is also a member of St. Paul’s and the co-chair of their Outreach Commission. Growing up, her family always had a garden, and she maintains a small vegetable garden in her backyard. She enjoys growing all types of plants indoors and outdoors. Her favorites are fruit trees, especially figs and citrus. She is nurturing her fig tree, which is recovering from the 2021 freeze, and maintaining a new dwarf, Meyer Lemon, along with an established lime tree. 

Harlan Matthews, Director of Outreach

Harlan is a Senior Technology Manager at Dow Chemical specializing in Site Logistics Operations. Harlan serves on the Vestry at St Paul’s Episcopal Church as the Senior Warden with a strong emphasis on Outreach programs. Harlan is also known for his extensive work within the soccer community as a Referee Coach for US Soccer, USYSA, USASA, PRO, NISOA, NCAA, and TASO. While having no real gardening experience, Harlan does strongly believe that Outreach and Gardening go hand in hand.

Bonnie Harroff, Treasurer

Bonnie is an experienced farmer who dedicatedly farmed in Richmond for a considerable number of years. She has extensive knowledge of crop cultivation, animal husbandry, and farm management. In addition to farming, she also managed a farmer's market for four years.

Currently, Bonnie resides in Fulshear with her husband, where they have a lovely farm with horses, chickens, and a hound dog. She enjoys working outside, tending to the animals and crops, and taking care of her family.
